Key Responsibilities:
 

Working in conjunction with the company's Board of Directors, Mr. Lacny is responsible for managing and directing all company activities including tasks such as:

 

Build an operating architecture that will enable the delivery of profitable, best in class customer service. The architecture integrates the functional groups and provide real-time information on projects, so that management has the information and ability to make real-time resource allocation decisions in light of shifting priorities.

   

Developing and implementing a comprehensive human resources plan (i.e. recruitment, assimilation, training, performance management systems, compensation systems) to support the creation of a best in class organization.

   

Augment and then manage a sales and account management organization capable of executing on the sales and account management strategy.

   

Oversee the financial portion of the company's operating plan, budget processes, and the preparation of all financial reports.

   

Recommend short and long range plans that address profitability and cost-savings opportunities, and monitor the effectiveness of these plans.

   

Conduct operational, organizational and financial assessments of potential acquisitions, and lead the post-acquisition organizational, operational and financial integration efforts.

   

Play a lead role in maintaining a culture that rewards teamwork, supports creativity and entrepreneurial initiative and continuously raises the standards of performance.

   

Identify and evaluate new market opportunities

   

Mr. Lacny first acquired real estate prior to his 18 th birthday in Vancouver , Canada . He immigrated in January 1992 to Houston , Texas employed as an acquisitions specialist with an apartment syndicator.

Using his sales skills as a national top performer with three Fortune 500 companies, the Lacny's founded Simply Internet in 1996. Three years later they were acquired by a publicly traded company in an all-cash, multi-million dollar acquisition.

During their tenure at Simply Internet, the Lacny's founded Simply Stocks with Kumar Prathipati in 1998 and divested in 2002. Simply Stocks managed staff exceeding 400 people in the U.S.A and India and their clients included Michael Dell, Banc of America Securities, Arthur Anderson and Value Line. They learned quickly the importance of understanding and managing finances and staff in a complex environment.

Simply Stocks was acquired in October 2004 from their purchaser for $225,000,000 by McGraw Hill/Standard and Poors.

Over the last several years, the Lacny's primary focus has been developing multi-million dollar homes and condominium conversions.
