The foundation of MyKidisSafe, the “Monitor Keyword” tool.
Every parent has a different way of protecting each of their children. That's why we created “User Profiles.” Each of your children can be individually “Monitored” for all “Keyword Categories”or only some. Simply select the “User,” choose the “Keyword Categories” by keeping the box checked for “Monitoring,” and finally click on “Save.”
How does it work? We scan all Internet Activity looking for objectionable “Keywords.” Our software features over 1,300 “Keywords” in these “Categories:” Sexual Content, Drugs, Alcohol, Attitude & Intolerance and what we call, My Keywords. When there is a “Keyword Match ,” we warn you with an email of the conversation.
We've made it our goal to do all the thinking for you, so we've chosen to default Monitor all “Keywords” in a “Category.” We've spent countless hours creating a database of “Street Slang”,“Internet Lingo”and their “Definition” right at your fingertips.
Remember, we want to do all the thinking for you. Think about that. It's our goal to keep up with latest terminology so you can have peace of mind .
First go to “Monitor Keywords,” and then “Select the “User” from the drop down menu. Then choose the “Keyword Categories” that you would like “Monitored” by keeping the box “Checked.” Finally click on “Save.” Repeat procedure for all “Users.”
To “Stop Monitoring” a Keyword, “Select the User” from the drop down menu. Select the “Keyword Category” from the drop down menu.
The list will now be populated in the box below. “Uncheck” the “Status” box and the “Keyword” is no longer “Monitored.”
To Add a “New Keyword:” First select the “Keyword Category”(Usually, My Keywords). Next, enter the “Keyword” and “Definition” (Optional). Now click “Save” and the new “Keyword”will be “Monitored.”
These are useful to “Monitor:” Phone Numbers, Addresses, Hangouts, Bad Friends.
NOTE: All Users will be Monitored for your “My Keywords Category.”
The possibilities are endless with Monitor Keywords.
